The Marge Kepes Award Marge Kepes Photograph
This award was created to honor of one of PTA’s most dedicated and selfless volunteers, Marge Kepes. Marge lost her battle with cancer and our district lost a true friend. The Marge Kepes Outstanding Volunteer Award will be given annually to an individual who represents the qualities so evident in Marge – her love of children, her willingness to give of herself whatever necessary to ensure the well-being of all the children in our district, her attention to detail, willingness to chair a committee when needed and to work together to get things done. Nominations are submitted to the executive committee and one nominee is selected as true representative of these qualities.

Reflections Program Link

Each year, the PTA Reflections Program challenges students to create art inspired by a specific theme. Themes are selected from hundreds of ideas submitted by students to the PTA Reflections Program Theme Search. Past themes have included "Exploring New Beginnings," "If I Could Give the World a Gift...," "A Different Kind of Hero," and most recently, “I Can Make a Difference by…” and “Wow!”
Students participate in the Reflections Program by submitting entries to a local PTA or PTSA. Nationally, the program has six arts areas—dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts—and four grade divisions—primary, intermediate, middle/junior, and senior.
